Our family originally purchased The White Swan Inn because it offered the perfect opportunity to indulge a hobby and passion for great wine on a larger scale.

Today, The White Swan Inn also attracts a devoted following for its real ales and speciality beers.

Wine List

The White Swan Inn has become known for its specially imported house wines and for its fine wine list which dates from 1963 (Port) which is probably one of the best in the country with the speciality being over fifty amazing wines from Saint Emilion in Bordeaux.

The house wines are specially selected and attract many compliments.  If you like them too, you are able to buy a case or two to take away on which you’ll receive our special guest discount.

Bar and Sitting Room

Whatever you choose, whether it's one of our wide range of quality wines by the glass, your favourite pint or one of our freshly ground coffees, brewed cappuccinos, lattes or even a delicious hot chocolate it’s sure to go down well in our fully refurbished cosy bar, in front of a log fire in the sitting room.

Club Room

Once you are settled into your bedroom explore the rest of the hotel and you will discover the Club Room; enjoy complimentary tea or coffee at your leisure in here.  A converted beamed barn awaits you with a well stocked honesty bar, pool table or perhaps challenge others to one of the board games on hand.  Or you may prefer chatting to the locals in the bar and lounge in the main hotel…
